An officer from Wilmington Police Department and a sheriff from the New Hanover Country Sheriffs Department tell a Uber driver that it’s illegal to record the police and they will take him to jail for doing so.
What they didn’t know at the time, is that I’m a local attorney, and was ready to call them out on their lies.

The United States calls it’s self the “the land of the free” when in fact the US incarcerates more people than any other country on planet earth… even more than Communist China.
With more people incarcerated in the US than any other country on earth (partly due to Republicans & for-profit private prisons), the US has become a “Police State” and ought to be called “The Land of the Imprisoned” & “Land of Oppression”.
